Exhibition: May 17 through July 30, 2025
STELLA JONES GALLERY is pleased to announce an exhibition showcasing the work of a Southern painter whose artistic practice is deeply informed by the region's rich cultural, historical, and spiritual traditions, as well as by the significant cultural shifts following the 2025 election. As we navigate the complexities and repercussions of a divided America, many have sought solace in nurturing their souls, bodies, and minds, which is mirrored in Lynn’s work.
JERRY LYNN’s work has garnered media attention and found homes in several esteemed celebrity collections, including those of Kanye West, Black Enterprise founder Earl Graves, Ralph White from Earth Wind and Fire, singer-songwriter Kem, Alonzo and Tracey Mourning, BET founder Bob Johnson, former NBA player Ulysses ‘Junior’ Bridgeman and director Spike Lee. Lynn has also been featred in various prestigious magazines and publications and has served as the official artist for notable events such as the Essence Music Awards, The Tom Joyner Foundation Cruise, the Kentucky Derby Grand Gala, and the Black Enterprise Golf and Tennis Challenge, among others. Currently, as LYNN embarks on a solo artistic journey, he experiences a newfound sense of creative freedom.
